Abstract
The number of deaths and exposure to Covid-19 was higher in Indonesia since June 2021. Futhermore the government immediately issued various policies to prevent the development of this case. The Policies of Large-Scale Social Restrictions and the Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities were established. It has then serious impacts on public transportation and the mobility of passengers carrying out their activities. The economic aspect of is also affected since activities are not optimally conducted. Furthermore, the impact of the regulation implementation on public transportation activities and the government's method of responding should be investigated. This is a normative study supported by secondary and primary data sources, then analyzed qualitatively and descriptively. The results showed that the imposition of Large-Scale Social Restrictions in the Indonesian Territory has a huge impact on the economy of public transportation carriers and the user because the operating time of public transportation such as buses, taxis, online vehicles, city transportation, Transjakarta and other modes is limited. Therefore, policies were issued by the government to balance community and public transportation activities to suppress the spread of Covid-19.
